Last week, we had the privilege of attending the annual Cart Marking ceremony at Guildhall Yard, a prestigious ceremony hosted by the Worshipful Company of Carmen, one of the oldest livery companies in London.
A Standout at the Ceremony
The ceremony provided a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of transport over the centuries, showcasing a wide range of vehicles. Each vehicle was marked with a hot iron, symbolising its license to operate in the city. Representing Dawsongroup vans on the day was the unique ONO Cargo e-bike, a vehicle that caught the attention of many attendees. The ONO made quite an impression, earning the prestigious Alfie Hyatt Memorial trophy for being a vehicle of significant interest in the theme of innovation.
The Blend of Tradition and Modernity in Transportation
The ceremony served as a reminder of the rich history of transportation and the constant innovation driving the industry forward. It was a fantastic opportunity to witness firsthand the intersection of tradition and modernity in the world of transportation.
A Revolutionary Last-Mile Delivery Solution
The ONO Cargo is a great alternative solution for last-mile deliveries. It offers the flexibility and accessibility benefits of riding a bike in busy, urban areas, whilst still providing the cargo capacity and durability a traditional van offers. Also, its unique swap-body system allows the cargo modules to be pre-packed, loaded and unloaded in a matter of seconds – maximising the vehicle’s uptime and overall operational efficiency.
