From Classic to Electric
Dawsongroup vans proudly made history by participating in a Guinness World Record-breaking event celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic Ford Transit. The celebration was marked with an impressive convoy of 201 Ford Transits. From classic models to the latest cutting-edge electric vans, the lineup showcased the full evolution of the Ford Transit. Together, they formed the Largest Parade of Vans ever recorded.
From Innovation to Celebration
The event kicked off at Ford’s Dunton Technical Centre and finished at Chelmsford Racecourse. It drew crowds and enthusiasts from across the UK. Among the impressive lineup were two of our own Ford E-Transit Customs, showcasing our commitment to sustainable commercial transport.
Driven by Simon Ridley, Managing Director, and Aaron Cawrey, Head of Fleet, the electric vans represented the future of mobility in the commercial vehicle sector. “Being part of this was a real honour!” said Aaron. “It was an incredible experience, and we’re proud to say we helped set a new world record along the way!”
