We’re excited to support Logistics UK on their charity bike ride for Macmillan Cancer Support!
On the 5th September, a team of Logistics UK employees set off on a bike ride from York Minster to Westminster Abbey. To support the team as they raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, we are providing Logistics UK with an electric van. The van will be used by their support team which will ensure the well-being and safety of the riders as they tackle their 225-mile journey.
The ride is all about rallying together for a good cause and giving back, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it. As a company deeply involved in the logistics industry, we understand the importance of coming together to support initiatives that make a real difference in our community. Teaming up with Logistics UK for their charity ride perfectly reflects our commitment to giving back and being socially responsible beyond our day-to-day operations.
By actively participating in and supporting events like these, we set a positive example and encourage others in the logistics sector to join us in making a meaningful impact together. Gary Henry, Head of Sales for Dawsongroup vans, said “Our involvement in the charity ride underscores our dedication to creating positive change and lending a hand to our community. By using our resources to support such initiatives, we hope to inspire other companies to get involved and make a difference in ways that resonate with their values and mission.”
Our partnership with Logistics UK for the charity ride shows that incredible things can happen when we come together with a shared purpose.
